WORDS OF WISDOM
Intellectually adrift, an alarming number of Americans can no longer ascertain their own self-interest and are now being led by the "pied-pipers" of our day. Twisting so-called "American ideals and principles" past the point of any semblence to their original intent or meaning; these pipers lead many Americans to the banks of one raging river after another; wars, economic disasters, societal intolerances, and ethical bankruptcies.
We invite those willing to think for themselves to listen to, and/or read the following. Our failure to heed the wisdom and warnings they contain have led to many of today's ills.

  • Stokely Carmichael, "Black Power" (1966)
  • Shirley Chisholm, "Equal Rights" (1970)
  • Dwight Eisenhower, "Farewell Address" (1961)
  • Jesse Jackson, "Convention Address", Democratic National Convention (1988)
  • Barbara Jordan, "Who, Then, Will Speak for the Common Good?", Democratic
         National Convention (1976)
